They're easy to open and close, although I found their plastic textured coatings to be a little hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you would expect from a refrigerator within this price range. This includes Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place in the globe. It also offers many options for customization. It also alerts you when a door is left open, when your fridge or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

It is nice it GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill, an option available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to set the number of cups they would like to pour out. It does have an indicator on the fridge's display to display how much water have left, but it's not as effective as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a striking piece. It's designed to look like it's a seamless part of your kitchen. The freezer temperatures remained steady at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, never changing by more than a fraction an inch. This is essential to avoiding freezer burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, achieving the desired temperature for initial set within an hour and keeping that temperature steady throughout the course of our tests.

The app lets you monitor and control your refrigerator remotely from your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive, but it offers excellent features and functionality for the price.

While the fridge is a fantastic piece of equipment, it's important to know the limitations. It has a narrow shelf space, so you'll require some creativity when it comes to storing large items. Inside, the fridge features a standard French-door layout with gallon-sized door bins on each door, two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to make space for tall items. You'll also find a full width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker making it simple to transfer frozen ice as needed. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, as well, such as sliding drawers that help better organize the position of your items. It also has a large container for storing frozen food and a separate bin for ice.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those looking to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerator that has an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice.

It has a simple design that isn't as striking in appearance as other models but it does have enough features that make it a great choice. Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. You can adjust the feature using the slider located on the outside of the drawer. You can also alter the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've found that the general settings are more effective than the specific ones.

In my tests, the refrigerator's temperatures stayed fairly consistent across different areas of the fridge. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. That's a good performance however it doesn't be among the top in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also combine this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise readings of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge resistant" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
